When visiting Lima during the winter, it is advisable to bring some sweater or coat with you. And if you wish to arrive in summer, to bring light articles of clothing will be the best choice. The Cathedral of Lima is a highlight of any visit. It is open from 9 am to 4 pm. Proper attire, appropriate for religious occasions, is recommended. Peru’s diverse and dynamic gastronomic scene has garnered worldwide attention in recent years. Peruvian cuisine is a tasty mixture of dishes, you can try seco de carne (beef dish), arroz con pato (Rice with duck)., ceviche (marinated raw fish); and desserts like mazamorra morada (purple corn pudding), arroz con leche, (rice pudding). suspiro limeño (baked milk pudding), among many others. T’anta is a highly recommended restaurant located in the historic center of Lima. T’anta (which means “bread” in Quechua) serves delicious, casual eats in its café.
