Based in a study carried out by the consulting firm NYC Associacion Consulting brought to light the list of the 30 dirtiest cities in the world.
The study focused in the analysis of 245 cities, that were evaluated according to the following variables: the level of air contamination, the water purity, the quantity of waste that is produced, the processing of residues, the quality of medical services, and the existing infectious illnesses. In this way it was determined that, the dirtiest cities of the world are found in Africa, Asia and Latin America, being Moscow the only European city that appears in the listing. The first ten places were occupied by: Bakú – Azerbaiyán These are the twenty cities left that make up the list: Point NUAR (Congo), Moscow (Rusia), Pretoria (South Africa Republic), Uagadugú (Burkina Faso), Bamako (Mali), Bishkek (Kirguistan), Caracas (Venezuela), Luanda (Angola), Marrakech (Morroco), Bagdad (Irak), New Delhi (India), Yakarta (Indonesia), Yamena (Chad), Brazzaville (Congo), Almaty (Kazajstan), La Habana (Cuba), El Cairo (Egipt), Nairobi (Kenya), Teheran (Iran) and Bogota (Colombia).
