Sydney is a city located in Australia; it is the capital of New Wales and it is found at the shores of Jackson Bay. When visiting this city, one can visit diverse attractions that speak for themselves about what this city is. One of the most well-known places is the Opera House which is considered Sydney’s icon. It was constructed between 1959 and 1973 and its infrastructure consists of a grand concert hall, an opera hall and other, smaller halls for any other type of event.
Furthermore, Sydney has diverse neighborhoods among which are: Glebe: This is one of the neighborhoods most visited by tourists, it furthermore, counts with diverse hotels that offer activities 24 hours a day. You can find diverse souvenir shops, restaurants, cafes, pubs, nightclubs and diverse clothing stores in this neighborhood. The Rocks: This neighborhood is considered the city’s oldest region, which counts with attractions such as the weekend fair, the Earth Exchange Museum, which is a geological and mining center, The Museum of Contemporary Art and a great many areas of local crafts and art galleries. Chinatown: Chinatown is the cultural and commercial center for the Chinese citizens that inhabit Sydney. It is a very animated region and full of color where one can find Asian food restaurants and places for food and massages. The massage places turn out to be a curious spot for tourists due to the fact that they are stretchers in the middle of the street where people lie down in order to get back massages. Another center of interest is Market City, a type of inexpensive market with miles of all types of cheap products.
Among Sydney’s attractions we find: Royal National Park: Is the city’s largest park and was proclaimed the world’s second largest national park for protected species. The park is characterized by its slopes and beaches and one can hike, surf and do many activities that puts you in contact with the region’s native birds. Among the most well-known beaches are Bondi and Manly where you can enjoy aquatic sports such as surfing. Furthermore, one can find the Royal Botanic Gardens, which are the botanical gardens, considered to be one of the most beautiful areas in Sydney. As you can see, Sydney is a destination where one can combine sports, peace, history, culture and a place where you may have experiences that will help you to relax and enjoy yourself.
