However, the truth is that it should not be considered solely as a technological destination but ii should also be considered as a tourist destination that offers extraordinary experiences. Among the main destinations we have: Nikko: A city characterized by its culture and religion, it was declared a Humanity Legacy by UNESCO in 1999. It is one of the main tourist destinations in Japan due to its large amounts of temples, cedar forests, rivers, lakes and mountains. Kamakura: Is the city that possesses the best collection of sanctuaries and temples and it is recognized by its enormous statue of Buddha. Kyoto: Is a city renowned for its historic sites. The historical monuments found in it were declared a Humanity Legacy by UNESCO in 1994. This city is the font of many of the Japanese cultural aspects that we currently know Nagasaki: Was one of the most important ports worldwide during the XVII century. This city was partially destroyed by a nuclear bomb during the Second World War. Among its attractions we find the “Park of Peace” and the Sofuku-ji temple known for its peculiar and beautiful architecture similar to Chinese temples. Mount Fuji: Is an attractive volcanic cone and the subject of many Japanese works of art. It is considered an active volcano, however, taking into consideration that its last eruption was in 1707, it possesses a low level of danger. Visiting Japan may be an experience where one not only enjoys the different attractions but also, learns about the country’s culture, offering those who visit it a unique and unforgettable experience.
