The writers and editors of Frommer’s have recently published their 2010 travel suggestions. Thanks in part to over 1200 votes from readers; these are the recommended travel destinations this year.
Found in Frommer’s 2010 Editors and Readers List are destinations which aren’t necessarily world renowned, nor are they highly visited. No, these places are enjoyed out of their potential to be tourist spots without the tourist feeling and traffic. These places are:

Tunisia: For those seeking to know and understand North Africa, its Islamic history, culture, architecture, and the ruins of civilizations long gone, this is an excellent choice.

Copenhague

Copenhagen (capital of Denmark): This city offers an avalanche worth of culture.  Additionally, Copenhagen is the most bike-friendly city of the world.
Hanoi (Vietnam’s capital): Hanoi offers a great cultural experience. Its architecture should not be overlooked, and its nightlife is amazing.
Abu Dhabi (capital of UAE): Without a doubt a place with so much to offer: beaches, green spaces, the epitome of modern architecture and of course few tourists.
Hawaii: One of the world’s best places in terms of welcoming travelers.  Hawaii offers visitors incredible experiences as well as an unprecedented natural beauty.
Santiago de Cuba: Known as the Cradle of Revolution and located east of mainland Cuba, this city was Cuba’s first capital.

Salta (Province of Argentina): The capital has a colonial feel to it while the rest of the province is vast and has places like la Puna, salt mines, and the Calchaquien valleys.
The Isles of Scilly (England): Located in the Atlantic Ocean. There, travelers will encounter secluded sandy beaches, funeral chambers that date back to the Bronze Age, and much more amongst its wondrous natural beauties.
Mexico City: Despite last years AH1N1 flu scare, Mexico City still has an attractive side to it like its overall history, its ruins, and the amazing food culture present.
Melbourne (Australia): Count on Melbourne for culture variety, sports, food and entertainment. This cosmopolitan city is distinguished for its Victorian era architecture and its natural beauty.
The Florida Panhandle: This section of the US offers awing beaches, shopping hot spots, and surfing amongst other things.
Kerala (India): If you are looking for peace and serenity, this is the place to be. The costal city offers warm sandy beaches coupled with a combination of cultures through its architecture and its food.
